my blog had been dead for so long! :x

it was really quite a hectic week for me.

monday:
microbiology quiz! i didn't realise there was a deduction of extra 0.25 marks for every incorrectly answered question :x i should have left some questions blank then.. arghs. contemp dance after that, and it was one of the stretchiest practises i've had! the instructor practically pushed our legs and stretched our hamstrings to the maximum. i thought that was a good exercise though, since flexibility doesn't come in a day or two. self-practises without instructor on other days are full of stretchings and techniques too.. and i feel fortunate to have been trained in ballet so the practises weren't too much for me to take :)

tuesday:
with the quiz over, i should be working on my lab report due on friday! tuesday night was rather unproductive for that, coz i ended up playing with my abandoned rubiks cube again! ah boon taught me the first 2 steps on how to solve it, and i think i got it! looking forward for him to teach me the last 2 steps so i can finally complete a rubiks cube on my own! :D so i slept at 4am coz of the rubiks cube :x

wednesday:
skipped contemp dance coz of my unfinished lab report. struggled with it till like 6am! the worst thing was i still didn't manage to finish it that night. i realised the later i stay up the hungrier i get!

thursday:
skipped dnd meeting and taser dinner :( because of the first chingay practise! was kind of looking forward to it coz it sounds so fun :D the performing group wasn't just consisted of dance clubs under CAC.. i was surprised to see other clubs like wushu, choir and chinese society inside! it was even opened to all ntu and nie students.. so i saw yihua there too! :D anyway i was quite surprised they wanted an audition to divide us into groups.. the 5 groups are:

1) 4 pairs of guys and girls to dance on the float (constructed by engineering students and supposedly with some dragons on it) and these 8 dancers do not have to walk at all since they'll be on the float all the time.

2) 9 guys to dance with the dragon pearls.

3) 20 girls to dance on the stage (the station where the president will be at), after which they'll join the rest on the road.

4) 50 or 60 girls on the road.

5) for the rest of the guys.. which i can't remember where they'll be at.. probably on the road too.

the audition was quite scary coz we were divided into groups of 8 or 9 and had to dance in front of everyone according to the choreography taught to us less than an hour ago. i had no idea what their basis of selection was. i was supposed to be dancing along with the 50 or 60 girls coz i wasn't pulled out after my audition, but i think they realised one of the girls they picked for the float was too short (the 4 guys that were picked were all freaking tall), and so they came to the crowd and picked me! hahaha lucky me. i was relatively tall i guess. actually the girls they picked for the stage were all somehow taller too :x thats why we had no idea what the basis of selection was. but anyway, i'm still very lucky :D i don't have to walk! hahaha but it'll be a duet dance on the float, which i had never done before :x

so you people better watch chingay next yr! first time ntu is participating too :)

friday:
woke up at 9.30 and missed the first 2 hours of my lessons :x i believed i subconciously turned off my alarm clock coz i was too tired! lab report handed in finally! time for me to repay my sleep debt too :D


i think i screwed up the bluetooth on my new phone :( now i can send but cannot receive files.. i'm feeling too lazy to send it for repair though.. sigh.
